Hublot… A brand that brings heated conversations and opinions. Hublot is surely known for its bold moves, disruptive materials and colours you can spot across the room. Baby blue sapphire case, snake pattern on the bezel, multicoloured ceramic that looks… questionable. You name it. Yet, Hublot also knows how to use its signature Classic Fusion design, the one that is directly inspired by the original watch from the 1980s, to make a softer impact. Last year, the brand surprised us with a surprisingly discreet Classic Fusion Essential Grey duo. It is time now to bring a touch of colour, with the new UK best replica Hublot Classic Fusion Essential Taupe watches, adding elegance and effortless flair to the equation.
Available in 42mm or 45mm cases, the high quality copy Hublot Classic Fusion Essential Taupe watches are, as its name indicates, the most essential watch from the collection. All the disctinve elements of the brand, the tonneau-shaped case, the fusion of material, the H-shaped visible screws, the raised bezel. It’s all there, but not full frontal. Identical in specs to the Classic Fusion Essential Grey of last year, both editions are housed in polished and satin-finished grade 5 titanium cases with all of the Classic Fusion highlights, including a bezel featuring six functional screws and a strap nicely integrated within the case design and relying on screws for the connection. Both are water-resistant to 50m, sufficient but not spectacular.
What really matters here are the dials and straps, or to be more precise, their colour. The choice for this year is taupe, a soft light brown tone that adds a touch of originality and a certain sartorial appeal. The dials are sunray-brushed with faceted applied hour markers and hands, and a date window at 3 o’clock. Interestingly, the date position differs between the 42mm and 45mm 1:1 buy fake watches, as the movements are slightly different in order to keep the window as close as possible to the periphery of the dial. Nice touch. The monochromatic effect is reinforced by a tone-on-tone strap, made of a combination of taupe rubber with a woven textile insert, also in taupe.
Inside the cases and visible under the sapphire casebacks are the calibre HUB1110 (42mm) and HUB1112 (45mm). Essentially the same base movement – a reworked Sellita SW300, an alternative to the ETA 2892 – the difference lies in the size of the date complication on top, larger on the 45mm edition. Some thoughts…
Now, allow me to express an opinion. First, the good things. I must admit that these top fake Hublot watches look quite fantastic. The colour is appealing, the mix of typical Hublot design elements with a restrained colour reminds us of the power of the shape, without the need to overdo it. There’s something effortlessly casual here, specifically in this taupe colour. Now on to the negative comments. First, 42mm and 45mm are too large, specifically considering the minimalistic take on the Classic Fusion design. I would have loved a 38-39mm edition. Second, even if I must note the effort for the date window positions, a Sellita SW300 base movement at this price feels a bit unjustified. Why not rely on AMT manufacture to have a dedicated, more advanced movement, like sister-brand TAG Heuer is doing? (and it’s doing for about half of the price…)
Last but certainly not least… Seeing these AAA wholesale replica watches reminds me of a discontinued model, the Classic Fusion Ultra-Thin. With such a streamlined look and an appealing colour scheme, I would have loved to see a 39-40mm ultra-thin titanium model, equipped with a micro-rotor movement and measuring about 8mm in thickness. That would be a great asset for Hublot. So, Mr Tornare (CEO of Hublot), maybe consider this for the future of your brand…
