If our IntoWork Calculator indicates that you are entitled to claim in work benefits, you must contact the relevant agency (your local authority, the Department for Work and Pensions or HM Revenue and Customs) to obtain accurate figures. We recommend that you should also contact them to check your entitlement even if our IntoWork Calculator indicates you are not entitled.
The information on this site applies to social security arrangements in England, Wales and Scotland. If you live in Northern Ireland you are governed by separate legislation and should contact the Department for Social Development to check your entitlement.
