The European Social Fund is an important source of funding for activities to develop employability and human resources, in line with the European Employment Strategy. It is used to add value to policies introduced to make a reality of the Governments vision for an inclusive society. |

London Councils is committed to fighting for more resources for the capital and getting the best possible deal for London’s 33 local authorities. Much of their work consists of lobbying the government and others on behalf of their member councils, not just for a fair share of resources, but also to protect and enhance council powers to enable them to do the best possible job for their residents and local businesses. |

The London Housing Foundation is an independent charitable foundation. They support charities that assist single people in London who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless. |
| New Start magazine is a publication for news, best practice and jobs in regeneration, economic development and sustainable communities. They are supporting OSW as their national charity of the year for 2008. | |
| St. Mungo's Association is London's largest charity for homeless people. Their services run day and night, every day of the year to help homeless people change their lives for good. |
